About our soap

Soap was next after candles.  We offer two different types of soap.  The melt and pour is VERY fragrant and decorative. The cold process soap is soap made the old fashioned way.  I stand over a big crock with goggles and gloves and mix the lye (yes lye) with the fats.  Out comes the best skin softening soap you ever used.  NO preservatives. It's all natural.  The fragrance isn't as strong because the lye really kills it.  Sometimes I don't use fragrance at all.  It's not as pretty as the melt and pour. Sometimes the colors are not as bright ...that darn lye! But my fiends and family agree it's the best! The unfragranced cold process is GREAT for people with skin conditions such as eczema or psoraisis .  Ingredients for the cold process soaps have been listed please check if you have allergies.
